Croc Valley Camp is for the budget traveller, and a quaint new exclusive tourist facility opened in February, 2005 , an oasis of calm, beauty and diversity. Croc Valley Camp is a small boutique lodge situated on the banks of the Luangwa River, 500 meters from the Park entrance and bordering the green park, with a hippo friendly pool on the river. The location of Lodge offers undisturbed wildlife watching of elephants, hippos, thorn craft giraffe and crocodiles in the Luangwa River that gives a stunning experience form the Africa travelers. The waters of the Luangwa River become the focal point for water-dependant wildlife. The chalets on stilts blend perfectly into the majestic landscape, and are beautifully designed with original and traditional materials, en-suite bathroom and private verandah. Our on-suite Chalets on stilts, build from local materials perfectly in tune with the environment, is set in quiet surroundings and spaced for maximum privacy, combine luxury and comfort with a classic wilderness experience. Our Camp has an enticingly clean “hippo friendly” swimming pool on the river to provide relief during the hot midday hours while watching the hippos and crocs also cooling off from the hot African sun.
