Green Comment:

The Turks and Caicos Islands is a place truly deserving of its slogan “Beautiful by Nature”. The island maintains a balance between ecological integrity and economic growth. Turks and Caicos National Trust has a mission of conservation and preservation of the islands resources, the Trust has endeavored to create ecologically sustainable and economically beneficial eco-tourism activities. The Trust’s first major accomplishment was the Eco-tourism Award winning The Little Water Cay Nature Trail Program. This Small Island is a retreat for the native rock iguana, currently listed as a critically endangered species. In an effort to curtail these activities, two boardwalk nature trails were built to provide limited access to the cay while protecting the burrows and nesting chambers of the iguanas. You will be able to merge with nature and the natural untouched wilderness of the Islands, whilst conserving and providing a sustainable environment on your holidays.

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa is situated in Cockburn Town of Turks and Caicos Islands . This country is one of the few countries still sufficiently remote from the politics of the international community not to be subject to precise studies on its ecological footprints . Cockburn Town more precisely is a city whose population, while able to get together in some community projects, rarely decides to establish ecological protection groups .
