Hog Hollow is a 4-star lodge set on the edge of an indigenous forest in a private nature reserve with panoramic green and nature views of the surrounding indigenous forests, valleys and mountains, in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa - the Garden Route.The Lodge has 16 suites all have private decks overlooking these vistas and offer guests relaxed luxury in an unforgettable setting. The Main House forms a communal dining area surrounded by a long blue swimming pool that visually flows into the valley below.Other attractions include a forest sauna and privately sited forest shower with incredible views over the valley. We assist in various projects - the Kids of Kurland where we pay the salary for a special needs teacher at the Kurland Primary school to assist with overcrowding; we’ve sponsored a local soccer team; we have sponsored equipment for a local band, who are now cutting their first CD! We also sponsored a young man to study nursing.

We have a robust recycling programme and are assisting others in the area to come on board. The recycling units in this area are rather limited, but there is a gaining in interest since we started the project. We give our vegetable waste to a local emerging pig farmer.
