Los Cardones Lodge is located on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, north of Montelimar and south of El Transito. It is a family owned accommodation provider which is operated in the true spirit of ecotourism and offers six beachside bungalows, each equipped with a private terrace, hammocks and lounge chairs which you can relax in. A spacious beach restaurant offers delicious food and plenty of hammocks for relaxation as well. Activities onsite include great fishing, snorkelling, horseback riding and nature exploration.

Los Cardones Lodge’s goal is to share the beauty of Nicaraguan nature and culture with responsible travellers and promote low-environmental impacts, in which will ultimately benefit the local community. Currently, it is using art as a medium to teach social, cultural and environmental values through free art classes, crafts and workshops for kids 5-15 years old every Saturday from 9am-11am. The resort is also committed to generating income for the local community by purchasing local products and engaging in services provided by the locals too.
