Green Space offers a choice of two comfortable, inviting rooms of the highest quality, designed to make your stay perfectly deserving, and definitely relaxing. Our house was designed by Alan Simpkin from Eco Homes and built by Phillip Wilkinson Fern of Natural Home Builders. Their brief was to create us a house that would be both energy efficient and sourced from environmentally friendly building materials. The rooms have their own entrances so that you can come and go as you wish. The en suite bathrooms are decorated in white and stone with blue accents. The breakfast table and chairs offers you the option of breakfast served privately in your room or perhaps a quiet place to write letters or postcards. We are pleased to offer your own tea and coffee making facilities to suit a wide range of tastes. The choices include a range of herbal or breakfast teas (organic where possible) and organic fairly traded instant or filter coffees. We have a climbing frame and a variety of bikes, trikes and outdoors play equipment available for your use. We can cater for your allergy or food intolerance if you let us know at the time of booking. Our eco principles extend to the day-to-day running to ensure we are sustainable as possible. We are active participants in the local kerbside recycling scheme and compost all food and garden scraps. We don't use harmful chemicals. In accordance with our environmental principles, we follow a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. All of our cleaning products are certified eco friendly and cruelty-free. Even our cleaning cloths are made of microfibre and the toilet paper is unbleached and eco-friendly. We are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified, using only eco-friendly products in our cleaning.
