Green Comment:

As a lodge set in Morocco, the Kasbah Timdaf receives rain only twice a year. To save up on water, the lodge employs double flush systems on their toilets. With regard food waste, these are provided to domesticated animals in the area. Organic food items are grown locally and are used for consumption by the lodge’s guests. Ventilation in the lodge is mainly due to its architecture, earth and stone provide ample natural cooling for the area. On lighting fixtures, the lodge uses automatic shut-off light fixtures in its corridors. The lodge also plans to set-up a wind turbine to decrease energy consumption for guests.
