Dar Tassa is an Eco-Friendly mountain retreat, located just over a one hour drive from Marrakech inside Toubkal National Park, home to the highest peak in North Africa (Jbel Toubkal 4165 m). This cozy refuge provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with all the modern comforts and added charm of traditional Moroccan hospitality.

Dar Tassa was listed as one of the best Ecological Economical places in the world in 2007 Ryanair Magazine and for the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards 2009. The accommodation owner helps a village association by paying a cleaner to keep the village free from rubbish and is also a member of the village association working hard to raise money for the school and the water reserve. Since 2007 the guest house receive Students from the US People2People oneworld ventures in Dar to meet with the association and work on development project. It actively works with HAF, High Atlas Foundation for Tree Planting Projects in 2003 and 2008 and adopted the Himalaya responsible code of conduct.
