Villa del Faro is located just 45 minutes away from the shops of San Jose del Cabo and the Los Cabos Airport, and an hour and a half from the cosmopolitan Cabo San Lucas. Villa del Faro is the ideal place for travellers to relax In the middle of a green, calm and peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, as it sits on 12 acres of gardens and desert, overlooking a private beach. It houses a restaurant, a bar and 7 rooms. There are a range of activities that visitors can choose from, including hiking, fishing, bird watching and canoeing.

Originally a private home for a large extended family, Villa del Faro was built, as much as possible, around the cactus, leaving many trees and natural plants untouched. There are no phone lines and electricity as the property is developed specially to have low environmental impact. However, a generator does run a few hours daily to power any energy consumption needs such as washing machines. The property uses solar panels for alternative energy resources, which is also the main source of power within the building. Vegetarian and organic food is served as well.
