A vast expanse in the heart of Kenya, Sosian Ranch is a 24,000-acre property with a huge diversity of mammals and birds. Overlooking Mt. Kenya and miles and miles of unspoilt Africa, the ranch boasts itself abuzz of activities including archery, fishing, camel safaris, horseback riding and bird-shooting. The Lodge comprises of 7 cottages that lie in a tropical garden to increase ventilation inside. Having the highlands as the backdrop in this 1940’s inspired house is truly a sight to behold.

Striving to be as eco-friendly as possible, Sosian has started to raise its standards in sustainability and eco-friendliness. A generator for electricity is used for a little time as possible and the power is then stored in an inverter. The produce from the area of the lodge is either grown or raised in the confines of Sosian or purchased locally from small neighboring communities. Siosan also supports the local community wherever possible and employ many of the people on the ranch and in the lodge. In addition to this, the ranch started a program supporting local schools just 3 kms away.
