Intended as a bush home for a filmmaker and guide in the Maasai Mara, the Serian is made up of eight tents – four of which is found in the Ngare Serian across the river and the other four placed in surrounding areas. Operational throughout the year, the bush home is a good area to watch the migration of wildebeests from June to October. The home is also a good vantage point for the birthing season from October to March. During the months of April to May, the area is cropped with verdant greens and is a prime relaxation space for travellers.

Green Comment:

With its focus on the traditional, natural and wildlife experience, the Serian has always been conscious in its endeavors to impart to its customers the conservation efforts of the camp. The camp’s objective is to use all-natural products, meaning no plastics and other fixed alternatives that might be manufactured. Using less of harmful structural facets, the Serian’s bathrooms are covered by bush and styled with African arts. Its tents are made of all natural products and most of the areas are communal to save up on costs.

Serian is located in Nairobi, in the region of Nairobi Area of Kenya . This country, relative to its size, cannot claim yet to be a leader in sustainable developement. But this country is progressively filling his lack of investment in this domain . Nairobi more specifically is a city whose population is engaged in the defense and protection of its environment. The issue of sustainable tourism is therefore fundamental .
