Located in the middle of the Mara Serengeti Ecosystem, the Rekero Tented Camp is in the heartland of the greatest concentration of diversity and wildlife in the world. The area represents an important animal corridor and combined with the surrounding lands, making up the Maasai Mara Conservation Area. Every year the camp is dismantled and removed for two months to allow the bush and the many wildlife neighbours to return to the site, leaving a fresh and recovered wilderness for the next season.
