Green Comment:

The Kali Manik Eco Resort in Bali, Indonesia, follows sustainable guidelines regarding natural and social resources. On every level, the Resort has shown its dedication towards green travel: from many exemples, its 14 staff members are residents of the close village of Kalisada, is uses natural cleaning products in all rooms and kitchens, Vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices are harvested from its organic gardens whenever possible, the rest of the ingredients are bought locally. Even the cottages have been designed to be low impact both visually and environmentally.

Kali Manik Eco Resort is situated in Bali, in the region of Jawa Tengah of Indonesia . This country while its development problems may explain a catastrophic carbon footprint, this should not be an excuse on a long term perspective . Bali more particularly is a city whose population is engaged in the defense and protection of its environment. The issue of sustainable tourism is therefore fundamental .
