Le Parc aux Orchidées is a unique guest bungalows built in the midst of one of the most important orchid garden in the world; there are more that 400 species of the plants to provide an incredible background to a relaxing stay. The Bungalows offer free entry into the park giving you time to explore and photograph the gardens even outside of the normal opening times during which only guided tours are allowed here, incredibly as a bungalow guest you get the place all to yourself. There is a spa and swimming pool too and there few better ways to enjoy nature than from the side of the warm pool with a refreshing drink, take the time to enjoy a massage completely immersed in the natural environment. Ecological actions are so a priority for us as it is explained on our web site, we participate so in the reflections of the National park of Guadeloupe of which we have ' Marque de Confiance ', we are also members of the Botanical Conservatoire of the French Antilles of whom functions are the protection of the flora of Guadeloupe (which is a part in the UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere ) and knowledge in healing plants. The protection of the flora and our environment is so a way of life: Parc aux Orchidées is a part of the National park of Guadeloupe and of UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere , it is also the richest site of Guadeloupe in local flora. The collection of orchid of Guadeloupe is another means of conservation of the patrimony, this collection is approved with the CCVS (conservatoire of the specialized vegetable collections) It is also evident that flora can not be saved that without cooperation of the local economic actors of whom we are a part, we support also association local of district who shall allow a durable and joint development of economic activities and protection.

Jean-Claude Rancé created the orchid garden. For 30 years he put all his passion at the service of these magnificent plants and now the garden boasts more than 3000 orchids representing 400 species making it the biggest collection of orchids in Guadeloupe. The garden has thousands of flowers, palm trees, fruits tress and shrubs and you have a garden that could easily be mistaken for paradise. It’s a prefect destination for a nature lover to spend their holiday. The resort is using Energy saving equipment like using the solar heater for the warm water, in shelters use of light bulbs low consumption, in the park limitation of the number of lighting, automatic light extinguishing, use of sun lamps or low consumption, use of lamps with dynamos. We use only rainwater for irrigation, cleaning products have a 'green label' and we ask our guests to not over-washing. In the garden we don't use any chemical products but only natural ones from our garden or the kitchen (composting). All we can do in Guadeloupe is done in the Parc : composting and recycling a part of waste. We don't release in nature any chemical products, we provide our tenants shampoo, cleaning products that are labelled "Cosmebio BIO" then water is re-used for watering plants as well as rainwater.
