Grenada is a Caribbean tropical island with friendly people and gorgeous eco friendly and green environment. Paradise Bay Resort and Spa offers gourmet cuisine, personal service, (beach) massage, a small gym, without the TV and no traffic noise so you can spend your trip in a green. Clean and pollution free environment. You can enjoy the dance at the beach; watch whales and dolphins; play golf (off-site); do a Catamaran trip, or paddle an ocean kayak - there’s great scuba diving, too; take an island tour; go horseback riding or hike or walk in the most gorgeous surroundings of Caribbean. Paradise Bay is a sustainable destination with local, organic food and amenities and the first resort on the island with a windmill: We go a step further by compensating the carbon emissions of all guest’s flights and therefore guarantee a Carbon Free Vacation! Staying at Paradise Bay is truly a different experience. Paradise Bay hires local staff where possible so the area benefits from the resort’s presence. To minimize the energy consumption the resort uses air conditioners with heat recovery units, which convert the heat loss into hot water, in supplement to solar water heaters. In addition, a high efficiency dish washer with hot water connection is installed. Although with a smaller impact, energy saving lamps combined with solar lights are used. Energy efficient refrigerators and washing machines will be installed soon.
