Kilauea Lodge is located in the quiet village of Volcano a mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Park is a home of Hawaii's active volcano Kilauea, offers miles of scenic green overlook and trails where you can enjoy your holiday in a clean, green and eco friendly place. There is a stunning vistas and both hot and cold lava make touring the park an experience to remember. The park and surrounding areas are endangered birds such as the Nene, I'iwi and Amakihi. The Lodge was built as a YMCA camp in 1938, which is now serves as the community as a popular country inn and restaurant. Albert and Lorna Jeyte purchased the property in 1986 and are the owners and hosts during your stay. Their cats, Meatloaf and Lamb Chop, patrol the grounds day and night. The well maintained, individually decorated accommodations show wall-to-wall carpeting, bamboo and wicker seating or mission-style furniture, armoires and local art.

Kilauea Lodge offers nearby volcano explorations, hiking, bird watching, wine tasting, golfing for the travelers to enjoy their holiday with lots of fun activities in a eco friendly and close to nature place. The Lodge also serves as an excellent base for exploring Hawaii Island, and is only 35 minutes from the town of Hilo, famed for it's tropical lushness, quaint storefronts and cascading waterfalls. Kilauea Lodge offers twelve rooms on property as well as two vacation cottages located off property. All rooms are beautifully decorated in Volcano art and flowers, colorful comforters and stained glass windows throughout. The guest rooms reflect upcountry charm with a commitment to warmth and peacefulness. The notable restaurant radiates warmth with its stone hearth and gleaming hardwood floors. The German owner-chef mixes European know-how with indigenous ingredients. A big gourmet breakfast is served to guests only, but dinner is open to the public. We can gather of up to 15 can convene in a conference room.
