Set as Beijing’s first and only eco-tourism resort with a 360 degree vista of the Great Wall of China, the Red Capital Ranch offers a unique relaxing and historical stay for travellers into the Chinese capital. The décor and the details on the furnishing are uniquely a fusion of Chinese, Tibetan and Manchurian themes – each room being protected by an antique stone animal spirit of lions, tigers and horses. The beds on the rooms also provide a good artistic canvas, while modern in function; it exudes the spirit of the early Qing dynasty in design. The ranch also gives its guest a sampling of local massage treatments after a day’s climb of the Great Wall

Green Comment:

The Red Capital Ranch, with the Great Wall at its backdrop provides guests and travellers the unique Beijing experience as well as an eco-friendly stay in its rooms. All of its rooms are retrofitted with a splash of artistic works by local artisans, providing livelihood opportunities for them and their family. Also, the ranch uses fireplace logs and stone décor that came from recycled and reused materials. The food used for consumption in the hotel is sourced from the local market. Not to mention the beautiful scenery of the hotel’s ground due to the gardens filled with shrubbery, the Red Capital Ranch is a sight to behold hundreds of feet above ground!

Red Capital Ranch is located in Beijing, in the region of Liaoning of China . This specific country in view of the importance of the global ecological protection, has unfortunately not yet reaches the minimum standard that the international community should respect . Beijing more particularly is a city that has become aware of the interest that could have long-term protection of its environment. While some delay is to be filled, its leaders are investing more and more in this direction . is one of the most visited cities in the world, and of course has to manage the problems related to mass tourism
