Strathcona Park Lodge is located in Upper Campbell Lake, Vancouver Island. Strathcona Park Lodge offers spectacular view of glacier carved valleys, big pristine lakes and mountain peaks. Guests can choose to participate in the various activities like hiking, climbing bluffs, trying high ropes courses and zip line. Tours could be arranged to take guests to the water of Nootka Sound to view marine life like whales and sea otters. Most rooms have a lake view and most cottages are waterfront. There are no TVs or telephones within the rooms and all rooms are non smoking.

Strathcona Park Lodge is a green lodge powered entirely by a micro-hydro system, reducing greenhouse gas emission. Strathcona Park Lodge also utilises solar energy to heat up its water. To be sustainable, Strathcona Park Lodge cleans and uses water from the lake. Dead trees, and trees cleared for landscaping are recycled as firing wood to heat up the lodges. Recycling is heavily enforced, with all waste classified into categories of garbage, compost, burnables and recycling. Compost is then reused on the Lodge gardens. All non-composting garbage is taken back to Campbell River and the city dump. There is no smoking allowed, and all windows are operable.
